To ensure our customers get the best out of their machines, we offer tailor-made training for Engineers and Operator’s. We are working in Spray Injection Patching pothole repair and road maintenance for over 30 years, constantly refining our processes and resource mix, as a result we are confident that we are thought leaders in this area, and we will share our knowledge and experience with you.

The training we offer is always bespoke to your needs. We can offer it all the way through to NVQ level. Our training helps to develop the efficiency of the Spray Injection Process and also develops the team of operators and enhances the technical knowledge of the management team. Training enables your operators to maximise their efficiency, increase their productivity and knowledge of the their role. The higher level management training is fantastic for developing your ability to use the full gambit of resources the Roadmaster® offers, such as management reporting tools provided by our Centaur data capture software, and best practise SIP calibration to reduce downtime and costs associated.

Our training is always developed in house by the designers of the Roadmaster®. Operators and Engineers that actually use the machine. This means we can guarantee it is really practical and yields real world results. We are 30 years refining and learning all there is to know about Spray Injection Patching, so we have a lot of knowledge to share!

ROADMASTER® SPRAY INJECTION PATCHER (SIP) OPERATOR INDUCTION STAGE I
This module gives detailed introduction to the operation of the Roadmaster® Spray Injection Patcher. This is STAGE I of the Roadmaster® Competence Certification process. This module includes both hands-on practical and theory components. During this module, trainees will be introduced to best practices in the operation of the Roadmaster® Spray Injection Patcher, including use of materials, Health and Safety considerations and effective patching techniques. It is essential that the trainees use the machine daily after the training has finished, to allow them to practice their patching techniques and improve both their quality of work and productivity.

Requirements:

  • A clean E+C License
  • CPC Card
  • Mechanical ability for minor maintenance
  • Basic IT skills

 

ROADMASTER® SPRAY INJECTION PATCHER (SIP) OPERATOR REFRESHER & BASIC MAINTENANCE & TROUBLESHOOTING STAGE II
This 5-day module provides refresher training on the Roadmaster® Spray Injection Patcher and is STAGE II of the Roadmaster® Competence Certification process. This module aims at ensuring the trainees are applying the learning provided in STAGE I Operator Induction module. The aim is to ensure the trainees are applying best practice in patching techniques and therefore using the Roadmaster® effectively and efficiently. This module aims at providing training on the basic maintenance and troubleshooting of the Roadmaster® to ensure the operator knows what basic maintenance they can perform and how to carry it out effectively and safely. This course includes both hands-on practical and theory components.
ROADMASTER® SPRAY INJECTION PATCHER (SIP) PRE-NVQ ASSESSMENT & BEST PRACTICE STAGE III
This 3-day module aims at ensuring the trainee is applying best practice in all areas of the operation of the Roadmaster® Spray Injection Patcher and to assess their competency in preparation for their formal NVQ assessment and qualification. This training module enables the trainee to fine tune their skills on the machine and address any gaps in their learning to date. During this module, trainees will be assessed on their operation of the Roadmaster® to ensure they are applying best practice in patching techniques, including Health and Safety considerations and best use of materials.
ROADMASTER® SPRAY INJECTION PATCHER (SIP) NVQ L2 CERTIFICATION STAGE IV
This 3-day Level 2 NVQ Diploma provides a recognised C skills award. The trainees are assessed in their competency in the use of the Roadmaster® Spray Injection Patcher (SIP) and associated Health & Safety considerations. This practical assessment further develops the trainee’s skills and evaluates their competency in the operation of the Roadmaster® machine. This is results led training, users have reported savings of over 10% daily in the cost of work, in addition to the benefits of higher quality, lower failure rates etc.
